Flood & Rain Events Result In Grant Program Suspension

Brisbane City Council’s ‘Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Grants- Community Facility Category’ has been deferred. Council has made this decision to allow community organisations and Council to focus on the immediate tasks of clean-up and recovery to get those organisations who have been impacted by the recent weather event to re-start operations as soon as possible.

The Community Grants Team advises that work undertaken on submissions will not be wasted as the program will be reopened in due course.
