$350K GRANT FOR UNISEX FACILITIES (QLD LIONS FC) – DARRA SITE

The Queensland Lions FC was recently successful through the Minor Infrastructure and Inclusive Facilities Fund offered by the Queensland Government. This program recognises the need to provide continued funding for not-for-profit sport and active recreation organisations and local governments throughout Queensland. The program is designed to support infrastructure projects that benefit local communities and enhance community participation opportunities through the provision of spaces that enable quality, accessible, inclusive, safe and more efficient activities.

Momentum has worked with the club on this project over the past year which will upgrade and modernise the existing changerooms at the Darra site so that they are appropriate for males and females in accordance with Football Queensland standards and community expectations.

$350,000 worth of grant funding will supplement the club’s contribution to bring this $490,000 project to fruition in time for the 2025 season.
