$1.5M for Redcliffe Leagues Club's Fitness & Wellbeing Centre
The Redcliffe District Rugby League Football Club was recently advised that it was successful in its application through the Department of Sport and Recreation’s Major Facilities Program for a grant of $1.5M towards the construction of the Fitness and Wellbeing Centre.

An official announcement was made on Sunday 16th May by the Minister for Sport and Child Safety, the Honorable Phil Reeves, confirming the club's success.

The Fitness and Wellbeing Centre to be built at a total cost of around $5.5M will consist of 2 multi-purpose group exercise floors, 1 fitness floor, assessment rooms, amenities and pre-class areas. In addition, a cafe and creche form part of the deisgn. The project has been designed as Stage 2 to the multi-purpose indoor heated pool projected constructed in 2008.

This facility will offer a range of activities including aerobics, pilates, weights, tai chi, cardio, group exercise and yoga.
